Does the thought of writing a love letter or poem automatically
reduce your vocabulary to a 5-year-old’s level? Well, believe it
or not, that’s a great place to begin!
Kids speak straight from the heart. They don’t worry about
tripping over the right words, they only know how to say what
they want using the most simple language. As adults, we let our
thinking get in the way of our emotions and worry about the
details before we have the big picture.
Dream up a love letter
You don’t need a sample love letter or a free printable love
letter. You’re going to dream up your own romantic love letters.
An indispensible tool for writing is a thesaurus. You’ll find
many free ones online; they’re a wonderful aid to finding
exactly the right word. Have paper and pen ready to jot notes,
but forget about words and writing for now.
Sit in a comfortable chair or lie down, let your shoulders drop
and take a few deep breaths, at least 5 or 6. Inhale deeply,
feel the air going to the bottom of your belly, then slowly
exhale as you pull in your abdomen.
Close your eyes and begin visualizing the one you love and
create a movie of you slowly running your eyes over every inch
of their body. What do you especially appreciate? View their
eyes looking back at you, run your fingers through their hair,
caress their cheek and softly brush your lips against theirs.
See the smile of joy, the tilt of their head towards you, their
arms around you. Feel their heart beat against yours and take in
the warmth of their skin. Watch as they run towards you, eager
to rush into your arms. How do you feel?
Let your movie continue running. Pull out the memories of when
you had a lot of fun and laughter, your most passionate times
together or when you were sad and your love silently held you
close. Which of them brings up the most emotion in you? What do
you see, hear, taste, touch and feel? What are they wearing . .
. or not wearing?
Linger a bit longer; let the feelings run throughout your entire
body. Are you feeling those tingles running up and down your
spine?
First love letter steps
The most emotional memories are the ones that will fuel your
love letter or poem. You should be in a better mood for writing,
relaxed and smiling. Take a few more deep breaths before you
begin to write.
You don’t have to get up; this might put you into “thinking”
mode. Begin jotting notes down. Slowly replay each movie and
describe the scenes with short, simple phrases, as a child
would. Later on, you can link these shorter phrases into longer
ones, but for now, you want to capture all the sensations,
physically and emotionally, that being with the one you love
means to you.
Love and emotions are abstract concepts so you need “furniture”
to make it real. Your movie gives you this material. Relate the
juicy details of the surrounding scenery, your love, what all
your senses experience and add them to your love letter.
Now put it all together.
Instead of “When you walk into a room and smile at me, I forget
what I’m thinking,” add the furniture. “You quietly glide into
the sunlight streaming through the window, your silky hair falls
over your shoulder. And then you gently tilt your head towards
me and flash me that quirky little half smile of yours that gets
my heart beating faster, my lips tingling . . . and I forget
everything I ever knew as our eyes meet and lock into an
embrace.”
No fancy words, there’s only two words that have three
syllables!
The “Laundry List” technique
If you find this difficult to do, using the “laundry list”
technique to write a love letter may be easier. Simply list all
the qualities you appreciate about your love: physical,
emotional, gestures, favorite sayings, funny habits. For
physical, start at the top of their head and work down to their
toes. For emotional, list different situations and how their
response makes you feel.
Or you could make a list of all the dreams you both have and how
you want to be together to share them.
Find a clip art heart (usually available in a word processing
program) and use it as a bullet before each item in your list.
Or give it a number, “101 Ways I Love You.” Then print out your
list on fancy paper. Add a photo of you both, either digitally
or glue it on afterwards. Spray on a little cologne (at a
distance) and, voila, you have a romantic love letter.
Love Poems
A love poem can be the most daunting to attempt and many won’t
even try. If you really want to make up a poem, but feel you
have no talent, cheat a little! Look up a favorite poem and see
if you can change a few lines to personalize it. Or do the same
with a favorite song lyric, then perform it karaoke style. Go
all out and dress up for the occasion.
If you have a special occasion you’re celebrating, you may want
to have a poet put your feelings into a formal poem for you.
Reciting the poem will make a bigger impact than just handing it
over and as it may be gift wrapped, make sure you have a copy to
read aloud.
Once you get the hang of it, romantic love letters will flow
from your heart and fingers. Remember the little kid in you and
keep it simple.

If you are between 10 to 40 you have great chances of getting back acne. People use different terms to refer to back acne, some of them are bacne and zits. Back acne is more prevalent during or starting with puberty and more common in male and female puberty cycles. There are many manifestations of back acne some of them to mention are pustules, blackheads, pimples and cysts. Back acne can appear on your back or even on buttocks. So, some times it gets very painful because we cannot possibly keep these parts of our body untouched either by carrying something or pressed against clothing or by sitting.
Though how back acne is formed is studied, unfortunately, the medical field is still unable to put its finger and say this is the reason why back acne is caused. All that is known is it is due to bacterial growth under the skin. May be there are more than one reason for the cause of back acne. While for other acnes heredity or genetics may play a vital role, for back acne heredity plays only a minor role.
There are lots of misconceptions regarding back acne. People believe that back acne is caused due to eating lots of chocolates and or oily food or fat rich food or fried food but medical tests show no direct correlation between back acne and oily food. The second misconception is that mental stress aggravates back acne. No, mental stress does not aggravate back acne though stress might play a minor role in other forms of acne; it does not aggravate back acne. The third misconception is that back acne is contagious. Back acne is not contagious. The fourth misconception is that many think that by repetitive washing of the affected part they can get away with back acne. But it is not true though it may keep you from more acne buds sprouting, it certainly does not wash away your back acne. Another dangerous misconception is that you can cure back acne with moisturizer. At times the use of moisturizer will only aggravate the condition of back acne.
There are many back acne treatments available in all fields of medicine including herbal and natural medicine. In treating back acne one should exercise patience. It is for sure a long term treatment. Since there are lots of treatments for acne people tend to switch from one to the other, this can produce undesirable effects. Those affected with back acne should identify one form of treatment and continue with the same for a considerable amount of time before they can see any noticeable improvement.
One of the major side effects of back acne is that the affected individuals tend to undergo depression and tend to have low self confidence and self esteem. This is more prevalent among the adolescents. Those affected with back acne tend to reduce their social life and stop going for swimming or any other activity that will force them to expose their body. Eventually, back acne which could have been easily cured with persistent treatment changes itself to a chronicle psychological disorder.

Increase Your Self-Confidence …
How to Increase Confidence and Self-Esteem
If you want to be more confident and create a higher level of
self-esteem - start by tackling projects that you know you can
do. Set goals that you know you can achieve, as you achieve them
raise the bar by setting goals that are a little higher. Keep
track of the goals that you achieved. Have a closer look at
those that you didn’t achieve and learn something from them - so
that you get better results by applying what you learned the
next time around. Failures are important - because you will
learn from them and that wisdom will propel you to greater
success.
Understand that you won’t succeed all the time at everything
that you do. The best baseball player hits around .350 - which
means he misses 65-percent of the time. But every time he misses
he learns something - understands what he didn’t do right and
goes out and tries it again. He works on his swing and
mechanics. My point is baseball players don’t focus on the
failure - they learn from it and move on to the next challenge.
Confident people learn from their mistakes and failures - they
don’t ignore them or dismiss them. They don’t dwell on them.
They learn from them and build on that wisdom.
Acknowledge yourself. One of the things you’ll learn in the
Creating Power system is the importance of focusing on your
positive qualities. Hey we’re not perfect - but if we focus on
all that is wrong with us we’ll only get down, depressed,
unmotivated, and lose our confidence. However, if you focus on
your positive qualities, the things that you like about yourself
- you’ll begin to attract people who like you for those positive
qualities. We spend a good deal of time on this subject in the
Creating Power system - because it’s important to get your mind
to move in a direction that will benefit you. That’s what
Creating Power does - it teaches you how to train your mind and
subconscious mind to focus on what you want so that you achieve
your goals.
Don’t dismiss or ignore those qualities that you don’t like
about yourself. Take a closer look and then think about what you
can do to change - so that you eliminate the things you don’t
like about yourself. If you don’t do this - they’ll always be
there. You can’t simply ignore them.
Having confidence and a high level of self-esteem is something
that you will need in order to achieve your goals. I can’t think
of a single successful person who doesn’t have a high level of
confidence or self-esteem. Without it you’re doomed. But this is
not something genetic - confidence and self-esteem are developed
over time and this is done based on how you see yourself. Change
your perception of yourself and you’ll begin to increase your
confidence and self-esteem. You can only change this perception
by changing the way you think - by looking at yourself
differently. This is just one of the topics we focus on in the
Creating Power system. With Creating Power you’ll learn how to
increase confidence and self-esteem while achieving all your
goals.
You have incredible powers at your disposal. Don’t waste this
opportunity — learn how to use them. Creating Power is the
Instruction book for your mind. Remember: take control of your
thoughts and you change your life. Start today - don’t waste
another moment creating the life you don’t want. Remember - this
is it. This is the only life you have. Use your incredible
powers to make the most of it.
These are some ways and steps to achieve whatever you want.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could predict which chord would probably come next in a song?
I’ve got some good news for you.
It is possible. Not 100%, but somewhere on the order of 75% to 85% accurate.
That’s because music has FORM — like the skeleton that holds your flesh, muscles, and skin up. If you had no bones — no skeleton — your flesh and all the other parts of you would fall in a heap on the floor. Not a pretty picture. But because you DO have a skeleton, you are able to walk around and pretty accurately predict which way your next step will take you.
It’s the same in music. Music has FORM — a skeleton to hold it up, hold it together. And that skeleton is made out of chords — harmony — the tonal center of the song or piece.
In any given key you can play in, there are PRIMARY CHORDS — chords that occur way more than other chords. They are like family members of that particular key.
At your house, let’s say you have 3 people in your family — your spouse, your child, and you. On the same block, but down the street a few houses, lives your cousin and her family.
At any given moment, who are the most likely people to be in your house?
Steve Martin? John McCain? Barry Bonds?
I don’t think so.
It’s possible, of course, but not too likely. If I had to guess, I would say it would be either you, your spouse, or your child. It might be your cousin down the street — there’s a much better chance of that than, say, Mel Gibson — but my best odds would be to guess that the family members would be there.
It’s the same way with chords. In any given key, there are 3 “family members” that are residents of that key — the I chord, the IV chord, and the V chord. They are far and away the most likely chords to occur in any given key.
For example, if I am playing in the Key of C, and the first chord is the C chord and I have to guess what the next chord is, I would guess that it would be either the F chord or the G chord. Why? Because those are the other “family members”. So we have narrowed the odds a great deal just by knowing who the members of the family are.
So how could I tell whether it should be F or G?
If the melody is a “B”, then the chord is probably a G chord. Why? Because “B” is in the G chord, but is not in the F chord.
If the melody is a “A”, than I would guess that the chord is F. Why? Because “A” is in the F chord, but is not in the G chord.
Does that mean that there are always just 3 chords in a song?
No, but there are literally hundreds of songs that are made of just 3 chords.
What if there are more than 3 chords in a song? What then?
We’ll take that up in part 2 of this series of articles.

Leaping onto the television landscape in Fall 2001, Smallville follows the exploits of a young Clark Kent in the years leading up to his emergence as the beloved Superman. Following a slew of TV renditions of the character’s life since the comic book first appeared, Smallville sets itself apart by focusing on the lesser discussed niche of Clark’s earliest developmental days. Superb casting and consistent writing have combined to make Smallville one of the more popular shows on television (especially in international markets), making the show one of the WB network’s most successful creations to date…
Tom Welling stars in the imminent role of teenager Clark Kent, a refugee from the dying planet of Krypton. His ship having landed in the rural American town of Smallville, Clark is raised by locals Martha (Annette O’Toole) and Jonathan Kent (John Schneider - of Dukes of Hazzard fame) as their own son. Unlike some of the film and TV spin-offs, Smallville attributes powers to other individuals in the area as a result of some of the debris associated with Krypton’s destruction. As a result, Clark is forced to keep his own powers a secret while battling against other individuals who are more powerful than traditional human criminal elements. The show also provides a glimpse into the early friendship experienced between Clark and Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) as well as Clark’s romance with two high school classmates, Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack) and Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk). Part sci-fi fantasy and part teenage soap, Smallville is an instant television classic…
The Smallville (Season 3) DVD offers a number of exciting episodes including the season premiere “Exile” in which Clark Kent engages in a massive crime spree in the Metropolis (having been transformed by the effects of red kryptonite). Meanwhile, Lex Luthor must grapple with his own conscience while secluded on an island, and Jonathan Kent frantically searches for Clark, going to great lengths to obtain the power necessary to end the ill effects of the red kryptonite… Other notable episodes from Season 3 include “Magnetic” in which a mysterious newcomer to Clark’s school exhibits special magnetic powers (including the ability to attract Lana), and “Hereafter” in which Clark’s discovers that his classmate Jordan can see into the future, prompting a prediction that Lana will die in the next few days…

Several years ago, I was on a talk show, sharing some of these
ideas to show our thankfulness.
During the break, one of the hosts shared with me their family
Thanksgiving tradition.
With tears in her eyes she said, “My mother taught us that many
of the early settlers of our country starved to death because
there was not enough food. Sometimes all they got to eat each
day was five kernels of corn. When we start our Thanksgiving
dinner, each person is served five kernels of corn on their
plate. Then we each share five blessings we are grateful for as
we move those five kernels of corn across our plate.”
This story touched me. It is such an effective and dramatic way
to actually visualize how much we have as we first witness the
scarceness of food so many people have to endure before we eat
our feast and enjoy our bounty.
Ways to Count Your Blessings & Show Your Gratitude • After
prayer on the food, hold hands and take turns telling what
you’re thankful for.
• Make a Thanksgiving Box–Have your family write notes about
what they are thankful for and stick them in a box beginning a
week before Thanksgiving. At Thanksgiving dinner open the box
and read the notes.
• On small cards or paper, write down the following categories
on each paper: person, day, place, experience, food, item Go
around the table and have each person draw out a card. Then that
person tells of something they are grateful for from that
category and why they are grateful for it.
• On Thanksgiving Day hang a piece of posterboard where it will
be accessible to everyone. Have everyone in your family write
things on it that they are thankful for. See how many you can
come up with by the end of the day. (Or write these on a roll of
cash register receipt paper and tape it up around the room.)
• Have thank-you notes and stationary readily available to
everyone in your home on Thanksgiving day. Encourage your family
to write a letter or thank-you note to someone they are thankful
for: a teacher, a grandparent, a friend.
• Invite a new family in your neighborhood or a lonely person to
dinner
• Go to a homeless shelter to help cook and serve Thanksgiving
dinner
• Gather food to take to a local food bank

You get bombarded with them on a daily basis. They come in your mail by the dozens per month. When you go shopping at your favorite department store, they offer you one so you can 10 percent off your purchase. Instant approval credit cardsdo you really need them? Are they such a great idea? Anything that seems that easy to get can’t all be silver lining. There must be some dark clouds in there too.
Instant approval, though, can be a extremely convenient way to build up some credit for yourself, and credit is, as every expert will tell you, what you need to build if one day you hope to buy a car, own a house, save for your kid’s college education, and so on and so on until you retire happy and rich. But there are some tips you can follow when applying for instant approval credit cards to help you avoid the pitfalls of ruining your credit, or just not getting the credit card you hoped for.
1. Don’t Get Too Carried Away
The first tip, and possibly the best one of the bunch, is not to go too crazy with your applications. Pick one card to start with, and see how that application process goes. When you start taking offers from every credit card company that sends you something in the mail, you run the risk of damaging your credit. That’s because other credit agencies will begin to see you as desperate, the more credit cards you apply for, and get rejected from.
2. If at First You Don’ Succeed…
Next, if the standard credit cards don’t accept your supposedly instant approved application, then try your hand at a gas credit card or department store card. These are generally easier to get for beginners in the world of credit. They also tend to make for greater “trainer” cards, meaning you can learn how to make monthly payments on time, and build your credit.
3. Get Bill Savvy
Speaking of bills, know how to pay for them. Keeping some carryover debt on a department store card is a good idea. It shows credit agencies that you can handle an outstanding balance. But don’t build up debt on everyday items, such as gasoline, food, or entertainment. That doesn’t look good, and neither does a balance that grows and grows every month.
4. Don’t be Late on Your Payments
Want additional help with instant approval? Here’s a big hintdon’t be late on any payments that you already have, whether they be credit cards, gas bills, cell phone service, etc. Any slip-up like that can ruin any good reputation you may have with the credit agencies in an instant.
5. Take Your Time to Find the Right Deal
And finally, take your time when taking advantage of instant approval credit. Once you try the waters on one card, wait another few months, even a year, before applying for your next. Or better yet, if you don’t need it, don’t apply at all.
Joshua Shapiro recommends Find Credit Cards to find instant approval credit card applications.

Whew! You have counseled the victims. You have counseled and yelled at the bullies!
And they are still running their mouths and hurting innocent students!
Remember the Bully Zapper motto - “Keep Trying!”
Our school has an in-house counseling program through our county health department.
These therapists have an office right in the school, and we use them for mental health emergencies also! They also provide in-service training to our staff on ADHD, Depression, and other common disorders.
We recommend counseling for both the bully and the victim. Often, the victim’s parent or guardian will enroll their child. This is so wonderful for the victim because now they have another person to talk to for support.
The therapist is also another set of eyes and ears for the victim. They also report any more bullying to us. More information from an adult gives the school staff more authority to discipline the bully, and possibly remove him/her from the general school
population.
Most of your schools don’t have in-school counseling programs. But, don’t worry! I then refer the bully and the victim to outside therapists in the community!
You can get a disclosure statement signed and still get information from this community therapist! “Where there is a will, there is a way!”
Paula McCoach invites you to join the Bully Zapper Newsletter, which is published weekly with tons of tips on how to effectively deal with bullies in elementary and middle school. You will receive a free special report for your subscription. To join, go to http://www.bullyzapper.com

Many computer users adopt the ‘it will never happen to me’ policy, but there are a number of computer viruses out there just waiting to infect and destroy the information contained on their hard-drive. This is why companies invented anti-virus software, which is a program that automatically helps to detect the presence of viruses on a computer or in a file before it is opened.
Anyone who spends a considerable amount of time surfing the internet, visiting unfamiliar websites or downloading photographs is at a higher risk for computer viruses than those who do not. Computer viruses are typically attached to word processing documents, computer programs and images which, if downloaded, may instantly affect the computer’s performance.
If a computer virus infects a computer, the owner may immediately lose everything in their computer and may be forced to use the factory restore disk. This CD, which is accompanied by most new computers, will restore the computer to it’s original factory settings.
Anti-virus software is quite affordable considering it’s wealth of use. Without it, computer users are at constant risk for computer viruses. Anti-virus software can generally be found at any computer manufacturer’s website, retail store’s electronic department or online at many retailers selling computers.
Anyone who suspects that their computer may be infected with a virus should refrain from sending any e-mail messages or uploading photos to family or friends. Otherwise, the virus may spread to infect their computers as well.
Anti-virus software is available most commonly on a CD-Rom, but may also be downloaded from some manufacturers. By double clicking on the software, the anti-virus program will begin to perform a scan of your entire computer. As it progresses, it will give you an update on any potential located viruses or files that may be of concern. In addition, some anti-virus software will allow users to scan a single file before opening it. For example, if a computer user were to download an image but wanted to run a virus scan on it prior to opening the file, he/she could click on the anti-virus software and direct it toward the file in question. The anti-virus program would scan the file for potential viruses and will post the results immediately on the computer screen. This will allow the computer user to know which files are safe and which are not.
In today’s world, anti-virus software is to computers as Tylenol is to headaches. It’s both a preventative approach and a cure for certain ailments affecting a computer. If a user does not have anti-virus software pre-installed into their computer, it is recommended that they purchase a program immediately before logging on to the internet.

DANTE: - Dante Alighieri is the tour guide of Hell. In fact you
could say he is the creator of Hell if you did not understand he
was directed and encouraged as others were being forced to write
and create all manner of graven images and religious icons or
treatises to support Hell, Satan and the whole dogma of ’sins
and demons’. The Church owned all creative work because such
creative things came from God and they were the representatives
of this God. Nice scam if you can make it work - eh? Here is a
little academic insight into how he also was tasked to diminish
the perception of prior seers and wise people.
“Inferno XX falls into four narrative segments. Lines 1-30
present the sin of divination in general terms; lines 31-57
introduce famous diviners of antiquity, each of whom figures in
and represents a major classical text: Amphiaraus from Statius’
Thebaid, Tiresias from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, Arruns from Lucan’s
Pharsalia, and Manto from Vergil’s Aeneid; lines 58-99 encompass
the digression on Mantova; lines 100-130 contain Dante’s query
regarding further diviners, and Vergil’s response, in which he
names Eurypylus from the Aeneid and various contemporary
practitioners. We note the canto’s symmetry; the general opening
and closing sections, each of thirty lines, frame the more
particularized interior sequences. The seemingly extraneous
section on Mantova is thus entirely surrounded and informed by
the commanding issue of prophecy, an issue which is directly
related to the canto’s highlighting of poets and poetry, to its
evocation of the classical auctores and to the arresting
behavior of Vergil. For prophecy is in fact a textual issue; a
profeta for Dante is one who foretells, who reads in the magno
volume of God’s mind (Par. XV, 50), and deciphers the book of
the future. Because prophecy is therefore essentially a matter
of correct and incorrect reading, the canto’s emphasis on
textuality is insistent: from the initial terzina, which
proclaims in deliberately technical language the author’s need
to make verse and give form to his twentieth canto, to the
equally technical reference to the Aeneid as an alta trageda
in line 113; if this is the only locus in the poem in which
Dante affixes a numerical tag to a canto, it is also a unique
definition of Vergil’s poem as a text belonging to a specific
genre. Moreover, the textual awareness of the canto’s opening
lines __ Di nova pena mi conven far versi / e dar matera al
ventesimo canto / de la prima canzon __ is shared by its final
verse: S mi parlava, e andavamo introcque. Here the presence
of a word, introcque, whose use by the Florentines is
caricatured in the De Vulgari Eloquentia, raises a host of
questions about writing and genre, and serves to close the canto
on the same textual key with which it began.
Inferno XX deals with the validity and legitimacy of the acts
of writing and reading. As Hollander has shown, Dante evokes his
classical auctores in order to correct them, misreading their
texts in such a way as to damn diviners, like Amphiaraus and
Tiresias, whom the ancients considered noble practitioners of
the art, tellers of truth. By placing these diviners in the
fourth bolgia, Dante establishes their falsity, and his
disagreement on this score with his classical predecessors. One
of the classical predecessors so invoked is Vergil, the Comedy’s
resident poeta, and it is as his new self that Vergil retells
the story of Manto, altering the earlier account found in the
tenth book of the Aeneid. The Latin poem relates that the
prophetess bears a child, Ocnus, who founds the city and gives
it his mother’s name: qui muros matrisque dedit tibi, Mantua,
nomen (who gave you walls and the name of his mother, O
Mantua [Aen. X, 200]). The Comedy, on the other hand, relates
that Manto, la vergine cruda (82), settled and died in a spot
later chosen by men from the surrounding regions as suitable for
a city: Fer la citt sovra quell’ ossa morte (91). Most
interesting about Vergil’s speech is his closing injunction to
